January 17–26, 2025 | Albert van Abbehuis, Eindhoven
Design Intermezzo showcased three distinct voices in contemporary Dutch design—Dirk Duif, Onno Adriaanse, and Teun Zwets—at the Albert van Abbehuis in Eindhoven. Curated by Wisse Trooster, the exhibition explored material, memory, and meaning through a shared sensitivity to transformation and tactility. Each designer offered a distinct perspective: Duif offered poetic reinterpretations of everyday objects, Adriaanse built immersive, root-like installations, and Zwets playfully challenged institutional norms. Together, their work sparked a rich dialogue on value, function, and form.
